Live or die, make our choice by jeenhoong Live or die, make our choice by jeenhoong
Gaunt's Ghosts stuff.
yea, it is done ^^
Perhaps this is the most vigorous and longest A3 i had ever drawn using only a 0.5 mechanical pencil and an art eraser. XD
This is Gereon, in Ineuron town. Gereon is an Imperial agri-world that had fallen to the forces of Chaos and in need of a liberation during the Sabbat World Crusade. However, macaroth's forces are spread thin and there is no way for a liberation in time for that moment.
In a strange turn of events (spoilers!), the coward general Sturm of the Volpone Royal 50th who was found wanting by Gaunt during the Zoican War had been accidentally captured by the forces of Chaos when he was en rout to a court martial. Chaos quickly learn that they had captured a prize for the lord general knows much information and guarded secret of the structure of the Imperial Guard and they began to interrogate him and turning him to the service of Chaos.
Lord General Van Voytz (Gaunt's superior) had launched a top secret assassination mission to the heart of Gereon (where Sturm was being imprisoned) to neutralize the threat. The Tanith First and Only volunteered for this mission with a few chosen specialists and Gaunt himself.
Prior to the successful landing and insertion into the planet, they met with the Gereon resistance, led by a ex-PDF ranger called Landerson, who acted as the Tanith 1st's proxy. When Gaunt and Mkoll decided to meet with the rest of the resistance in the occupied Ineuron Town, they ran into a compromised hideout and started to flee.
When cornered like rats in a colonnade, with enemies all around them, they have only one choice. Shoot your way out or die under the oppression. Make your choice.

UPDATE: I am thinking of selling the original A3 drawing, anyone interested, contact me ^^

Perhaps it is time for more chaos cultist illustration and Eisenhorn stuff!

Nicely done, this just became one of my favourite Gaunt's Ghosts art pieces. Though, I must say, I thought Gaunt was, well... more gaunt. x3
