We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. As ironic as it is, I'm going to be doing something similar very soon at my school (energy-efficient cottages to be exact - just waiting to get the full details before I start.) Would there happen to be any advice on drawing up floor plans?

now that is interesting, cottage on sustainability. well, i am sure it is more than just solar panels and rainwater collecting ^^
as for floor plans, always make sure the spaces are usable. curve space and irregular angle space is just for cosmetics and basically are dead spaces that you can insert furniture. landscaping is important as well as the potential vista, avoid west facing opening and improve the floor plan circulation, try annexing corridors for better spatial flow ^^
