Okay. You see, the planes of your work are equally detailed, so there's little to know perspective in this piece despite the fact that the figures are formally placed right. E.g., there's no focus in it. Because of it, the pic looks kinda messed up - the eye searches a focal pioint on it, but doesn't find one.

For the future - try detailing the foreground and the background differently, depending on what is the focus of the picture. The shading and crosshatching can help too - for example, try giving the foreground figures more bold shades or stronger outlines. If you put such a big amount of details into rendering the figures, don't render the grass in the same manner, because it's getting hard to separate one from another))
I see that you tried to do something like that from the near right tau, who's legs aren't detailed but shaded with a gradient - that's very good, work in that direction.

Overall, a good pic)) Nice to see Tau getting busted))

yup, that is great comment^^ basically, i found out that my weakest side now is doing the background. Yea, perhaps detail is not the answer eh? heheh will improve more in the future. Yea, i think the problem with me is like trying to do a photograph.. with detail and stuff but actually what i need is just a normal sketch.

As a Tau player I should be against this but I guess all is fair in love and war and how can you argue with the coolness of this sketch. Nicely done my friend.

you can make it by cutting off the edges of a cow boy hat and throwing it into a acid wash, adding the effect.
